Yeselling is the first Ling of the Dzogchen Community in Austria and part of the worldwide Dzogchen Community. Chögyal Namkhai Norbu, the founder of the international Dzogchen Community, gave to the Ling the name “Yeselling” which means “Luminous since the beginning”.

A Ling is a spiritual place of the Dzogchen Community to preserve and further the Teachings and Transmissions of Dzogchen. Various activities are organized in a Ling, like retreats, seminars, and courses on Dzogchen. People can regularly do their practice like the Dance of the Vajra or Yantra Yoga, and can follow the webcasts of the retreats of Chögyal Namkhai Norbu by video.

Yeselling was opened in December 2008 by Elio Guarisco and inaugurated by Yeshi Silvano Namkhai in February 2009.

Since December 2009 there is also a Mandala for the Dance of the Vajra In Yeselling.

People coming to Yeselling are not only enjoying the collective practicing in the huge and very elegant Gompa, but also the wonderful site, the cooking in the cozy kitchen, the reading books from the library, the shopping of all the different items of the Shang Shung Institute, and the lodging in the various guest-houses.

In Yeselling one also can find one of the biggest collections of statues in relation to the Dzogchen Teachings. Such collection of statues is hardly to find anywhere else. The statues are of extraordinary quality, gold plated and especially made for the Shang Shung Institute.
